Wild Times with Susan Maletta

Comedy podcast including personal development themes and challenges, guest interviews, personal stories, Shots n' Crafts parties, and wild times and discussions. Sometimes rants. The philosophy and motto of this podcast is Work Hard/Play Hard. Get successful so you can reward yourself with wild times, baby. This podcast is geared towards other comedians, aspiring comedians & podcasters, and the general public (non-comedians who love comedy). I also swear a lot so you'll have to get over that. I temper it with eloquent speaking and useful information, though, so there's that.. love me or leave me. Comedian Bio: Susan Maletta is a Silicon Valley-based comedian who creates an instant connection with her audience that delights the spirit yet can sometimes pollute the mind. This corporate run-away, divorce survivor, and single parent fires off her relatable insights in a high-energy, charismatic performance that is sure to entertain and amuse any audience. Susan Maletta has appeared on Nick-at-Nite’s America’s Funniest Mom 3 and was featured in the documentary film, "Comedy ’Aint for the Money", and on Hulu. She won 1st place in the Tommy T's Comedy Club comedy contest and 2nd place in Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club's annual competition. She has also done radio and podcasting for many years, interviewing hundreds of Bay Area comedians including Robin Williams. Don't be a tool...  get your planning tools in order. Having the right tools makes goal planning not only easier, but more enjoyable and fun.

We'll go over:

  • Planners
  • Bullet journals (BuJos)
  • Habit tracker journals
  • Dashboards
  • Guiding words (to focus on)
  • Wall calendars (dry erase)
  • How to make a digital vision board

I did forget to mention using Google Calendar and/or MS Outlook in addition to any of these tools/systems because getting automatic alerts on your phone is really useful. It's just not as fun (and visually stimulating) as using actual hard-copy planners.

I will try to work on not moving my mic cord around while I talk next time. You can hear it sometimes and it's fuckin' irritating. My bad.

Next time we will talk about the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Steven Covey. I will summarize the habits and main principles for ya.

Oh and..

Here are the pens I told you about (no, these are not affiliate links and I don't profit whatsoever. I just like these pens).
